San Pedro de Alcantara is a small town located a few kilometers West of Marbella. Here you will experience an authentic Andalusian town feel. Enjoy a walk around the small streets and mingle with the local population. The town offers plenty of amenities with a wide range of shops and restaurants. Here you will find excellent sports facilities and health centers. There are several schools as well such as Laude San Pedro International College.
Because of the variety it offers San Pedro is becoming increasingly popular for dining and socializing. It has a fine selection of bars, cafes and traditional restaurants in the old town and also a growing selection of excellent tapas places. Many of them a centered around the Bulevard and Paseo Marítimo.
The town has an appealing seafront promenade and two popular parks. One of them is “The Boulevard” in the center of the town with it´s children’s playgrounds and a small outdoor theater. San Pedro has several sought-after developments. Examples are the high-end Guadalmina and Linda Vista, both to the west of the resort.
There are also several golf courses within a ten-minute drive. Examples are La Quinta, Los Arqueros, El Campanario and La Zagaleta.
