Benalmadena town is located west of Malaga international airport, between Fuengirola and Torremolinos. The area offers plenty of attractions for holidaymakers all year around. To get to the town center from the airport you can rent a car (less than a 20-minute drive) or travel by train. Benalmadena is famous for its stunning beaches, amusement parks and golf courses. You can visit beautiful castles and underwater park or go dolphin watching. Benalmadena also has a stunning award-winning Marina.
Benalmadena Puerto is several times winner of the ‘Best Marina in the World’ award. One of the Costa del Sol’s busiest centers by day and night. The port is full of energy, nightlife, bars, and clubs. When the night falls the port shines full of light, lively restaurants with open terraces, boats and holiday vibes.

Benalmadena Beaches
1. Carvajal Beach is a popular family beach and could be very busy in the summer. It has variety of bars and beach activities in hand, dominated by many high-rise buildings. The beach is also conveniently close to shops and restaurants.
2. Malapesquera Beach is another busy beach almost 1 km long and is right beside the Benalmadena Marina. That´s where the Festival of the ‘Virgen del Carmen’ is celebrated every year in the middle of July. Thanks to its central location, you can get there by foot, car, and bus. There are car park facilities (including ramp) for disabled and Red Cross presence.
3. Arroyo Beah – a very popular beach with a long promenade, which runs right along to the port and the Marina. Its high standards of cleanliness and excellent facilities have been recognized by the European Blue Flag award.
Other popular beaches in the area are Torre Bermeja Beach, Santa Ana, Torremuelle Beach, Arroyo Hondo, Viborillas, Torrevigia, Benaltura (nudist beach), La Perla, La Morrera (mainly locals and young people who camp).
